Creating an account is free — for clients and providers

Clients pay a connection fee only when they send a request (KSh 50 – KSh 300 depending on the service). New clients who sign up with a phone number start with KSh 300 of wallet credit.

No. Providers can register, get verified and accept jobs. There are no subscription tiers — you only pay the published acceptance fee when you take a job.
It covers matching you with a verified provider nearby and opening the chat channel between you. It is charged from your wallet at the moment you send the request, and the amount is shown on screen first.
No. Plug-Yangu charges platform fees only. What you pay the provider for the actual work is agreed and settled directly between the two of you.
Yes. If a request expires without any provider accepting it, the connection fee is returned to your wallet automatically.
Not from the app. Wallet credit is for platform fees. Contact support if you want to withdraw leftover credit.
